SAFETY FEATURE FOR PROJECTION SUBSYSTEM USING LASER TECHNOLOGY

Projection subsystem (PSS) comprising a projector (P) for projecting an image on a projection surface (PS) and a safety feature (SF) for tuning the projector when a human is detected in front of it; this safety feature comprising: - Apparatus (C1, C2, SPU) for computing a depth view corresponding to at least a portion of the projection surface (PS), - Camera for acquiring a captured image (CI), - Computing circuits (CC) for detecting a human in front of the projector from this depth view and this captured image (CI), and for tuning the projector (P) accordingly.
