The invention relates to a plug-in shaft system (1) comprising a hollow stub shaft (2) inside of which a shaft (3) is put to transmit torque, a sealing cap (4) being fastened to a front end (5) of the hollow stub shaft (2) to seal the interior of the hollow stub shaft (2) from the passage of oil, and an oil guiding cap (9) being fastened to the front of the hollow stub shaft (2) at an axial distance to the oil sealing cap (4), said oil guiding cap defining an oil guiding space (10). The invention also relates to a differential, such as a straight differential, comprising said plug-in shaft system, wherein preferably two sun gears are used.
