Warp knitting machine and method of making a spacer warp knit fabric as well as warp knit spacer fabric

The machine has two opposite machine halves (1, 2) for producing material webs, and a connection unit (14) arranged between the halves for guiding a connection element to connect the produced material webs with the connection element. The connection unit has a guide bar (13) moved in a direction, running perpendicular to the webs, between the machine halves during connection of the material webs. A guiding unit (9) assigned to each machine half has a guide bar (8), where the guiding units are positioned at the halves independent of the connection unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for making a spacer warp knit fabric (2) a spacer warp knit fabric comprising two material webs.
