The present invention relates to medicine and medical devices, in particular to obstetrics, and concerns a double-balloon obstetric catheter. The double-balloon obstetric catheter comprises a uterine balloon and a vaginal balloon which are respectively equipped with a uterine-balloon axial tube and a vaginal-balloon axial tube. The uterine-balloon axial tube is arranged coaxially in the vaginal-balloon axial tube so as to be able to secure a change in distance between the balloons along the longitudinal axis of the device. The vaginal balloon is fixed at the distal end of the vaginal-balloon axial tube, and the shape of the distal end of the vaginal-balloon axial tube is adapted to the anatomical contours of the uterine neck. The problem addressed by the present invention is that of creating a catheter which makes it possible effectively to treat both prenatal and postnatal bleeding, and can also be used for preventing a pathological haemorrhage and infectious complications in a Caesarean section.
