Disclosed is a circular purse string clamp able to automatically sew up a purse. The clamp comprises a clamp body (1), a sewing needle assembly (3) and a sewing needle drive mechanism (4), wherein an annular sewing needle sliding groove is provided in a head part of the clamp body (1); the sewing needle assembly (3) is slidably mounted in the annular sewing needle sliding groove; the sewing needle drive mechanism (4) is rotatably connected to the clamp body (1), and a head part of the sewing needle drive mechanism (4) drives the movement of the sewing needle assembly (3) around the annular sewing needle sliding groove. The circular purse string clamp can ensure a suitable amount of tissue at the purse and can automatically, conveniently and reliably sew up a purse.
