Provided is a method for local service program authenticating an application of an Android client. The method comprises: first signing the client application to generate an authentication information file; when the client application runs in the Android system, the local service program authenticating the authentication information file, and if the authentication succeeds, the client application normally using the services provided by the local service program. Through the method provided by the present invention, the tampered client application cannot obtain the functions of the local service program, thereby distinguishing legal software from malicious software, and ensuring the security of the Android system and network.
