ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY HEAVY LANTHANUM FLINT OPTICAL GLASS

摘要

Environmentally-friendly heavy lanthanum flint optical glass contains the following components by weight percentage: La₂O₃：30%~50%, TiO₂：3%~15%, and Nb₂O₅：5%~12%, and has a density of below 4.56g/ cm³, a refractive index of 1.85~1.95, an abbe number of 25~35, and a transformation temperature below 670°C. By adding the components SrO and BaO, the refractive index of the optical glass is enhanced, the softening point is reduced, and the chemical properties are improved. The optical glass does not contain components bringing pollution to the environment, such as lead, arsenic, and cadmium.
