Disclosed are a light board module and a ceiling light having the light board module. The light board module comprises multiple light boards (16), where at least five light boards are arranged into a multilateral ring. Any one light board in the multilateral ring comprises: a substrate (163) and multiple light-emitting diodes (17) arranged on the substrate, where the light-emitting diodes are arranged on the substrate in an arrangement having a length (L) and a width (W), the length is greater than the width, and the substrate covers a portion of a surface of a back panel (12) of the ceiling light. The light boards can constitute either at least one multilateral ring or multiple multilateral rings, where the light-board intervals between the rings can be different, thus increasing the illumination design flexibility of the ceiling light.
