Method and device for testing the working condition of an eccentric shaft

The device has a clamping device for fixing an output side (10a) of an eccentric shaft (10), and bearing points for rotatably supporting the shaft, where the bearing points are arranged at a distance from each other. A load device (13) is arranged between two bearing points during testing operation, where the load device is adapted to the bearing points such that the load device engages at an eccentric section (10b) e.g. pin, of the shaft. The load device applies load in the form of tangential force or tangential force component and/or radial force or radial force component on the section. An independent claim is also included for a method for testing operational stability of an eccentric shaft.
