The aim of the invention is to provide a system for measuring loads during wheel/rail contact of rail vehicles such that the applied forces and/or torque can be measured in a reliable and realistic manner. Said aim is achieved by virtue of the fact that at least one elastic element (2) is arranged between the base of the rail (10) and the measuring device (4), said elastic element having an elasticity that simulates the elasticity of a ballast bed. Due to the claimed measuring system, realistic conditions of a rail track can be simulated and high reproducibility of a load situation can be obtained.
