The present invention relates to an information processing device capable of continuing the detection of operator instructions, even if the detection of instruction information is less reliable due to a device failure or deterioration of the surrounding environment. The information processing device comprises: an instruction history accumulation unit that associates a user instruction and the history of at least two different items of instruction information detected from a user, and stores the same; an instruction information reception unit that receives instruction information; an instruction recognition unit that refers to the instruction information history and recognizes user instructions from the received instruction information; a reliability determination unit that refers to the instruction information history and determines the reliability of received instruction information; and an instruction information alteration unit that refers to the instruction information history and changes the received instruction information to other instruction information if the reliability determination unit determines that the reliability of the received instruction information has decreased.
