SOAKING PRESSURE RESISTANCE TEST METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BIMETAL-ELEMENT WATERPROOF THERMOSTAT

Provided are a soaking pressure resistance test method and system for a bimetal-element waterproof thermostat. The test method comprises the following steps: A: immersing the thermostat main body in a first metal container filled with water, and immersing the metal terminal of the lead of the thermostat in a second metal container filled with water; B: enabling an earth clamp connected to a pressure resistance tester to contact the first metal container, and enabling a test rod probe of a test rod connected to the pressure resistance tester to contact the second metal container; and C: when it is detected that the thermostat main body in the first metal container flashes, determining that the thermostat main body immersed in the first metal container is a defective product. By using this test method, in a process of testing the thermostats, when one tested thermostat is defective, the thermostat may has obvious flashover or flash in the metal container filled with water, thereby rapidly picking out the defective thermostat through the test.
