The purpose of the present invention is to provide a system for printing on three-dimensional objects which is capable of simplifying printing condition configuration by a user. The solution to this problem is a system for printing on three-dimensional objects which is provided with a recording head (25) having a nozzle surface (25c) on which multiple ink-discharging nozzles (25a) are formed, and with a shaft member which, in a state in which the nozzle surface (25c) is opposite of the curved lateral surface (91) of a cylindrical three-dimensional object, supports the three-dimensional object (90) so as to allow rotation around a central axis parallel to the lateral surface (91). The diameter is received of the cross-sectional circle obtained by cutting the three-dimensional object (90) in a direction perpendicular to the central axis, and depending on the received diameter, the working nozzle range (25d) is set, which is the range in a sub-scanning direction indicated by the arrow (20b) parallel to the nozzle surface (25c) and perpendicular to the central axis; while rotating the three-dimensional object (90) by means of the shaft member, ink is discharged from the those nozzles (25a) that are in the working nozzle range (25d), and an image is printed on the lateral surface (91) by the means of the recording head (25).
