Provided is a high-strength fiber wire material, which contains a core wire produced by bundling high-strength fiber yarns such as carbon fiber yarns, and which can surely exhibit tensile strength inherent in the high-strength fiber yarns. A high-strength fiber wire material which comprises multiple high-strength fiber bundles each comprising a core wire that is produced by bundling high-strength fiber yarns and a restraining material that is wound around the core wire to band the core wire, wherein the high-strength fiber bundles are integrated together with a solidifying agent, and wherein a tubular body comprising a fiber material is so arranged as to cover the outer periphery of the high-strength fiber wire material and the high-strength fiber wire material and the tubular body are integrated together with a solidifying agent to form a multi-layer structure. It is particularly preferred that the core wire is mainly composed of untwisted carbon fiber yarns and is produced by arranging the carbon fiber yarns in the same fiber direction and bundling the carbon fiber yarns without interlacing the carbon fiber yarns.
