Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator medical device with dynamically adjustable ventricular sensing threshold

The device has a collection unit for collecting data relating to electrical activity of a heart. A determination unit determines whether noise is suspected to be present in the collected data. A capturing unit performs capture test to detect occurrence of an induced depolarization consecutive to the application of a stimulation pulse. Adjustable detection threshold is reduced when an induced depolarization is not detected based on the capture test. The adjustable detection threshold is maintained when an indicated depolarization is detected based on the capture test.
