A file binder (103) has a rear surface plate member (2), a protruding member (3), and a front surface plate member (6). The rear surface plate member (2) is bent so that a bottom end part (5) faces forward. The protruding member (3) protrudes to the forward side from a location that is higher than the bottom end part (5). The front surface plate member (6) extends downward from the leading end part of the protruding member (3). The front surface plate member (6) extends downward beyond the leading end edge (80) of the bottom end part (5), and there is a space (81) formed between the front surface plate member and the leading end edge (80). On the rear surface of the front surface plate member (6) attached are pillar-shaped protruding parts (15) that protrude rearward. The pillar-shaped protruding parts (15) are disposed below the bottom end of the rear surface plate member (2), extend farther back than the leading end edge (80) of the rear surface plate member (2), and reach a plane that is substantially flush with the rear surface of a main body part (4) of the rear surface plate member (2). Due to the foregoing, achieved is a file binder with which a group of paper sheets can be freely attached and removed, and that can be provided at a low cost. Further, as a result of the present invention, printed matter can be achieved that is appropriate for use with the file binder and that can be provided at a low cost.
