In cases when an islanding-operation detection device is modularized as a separate body to a control device for controlling a power conditioner, the islanding-operation detection device cannot, just by issuing an instruction to the control device, verify that the control device is reliably operating in accordance with the instruction of the islanding-operation detection device. This islanding-operation detection device is provided with: a current-value acquisition unit which acquires a current value of a current outputted from a power conditioner; and a stop-signal transmitter which, in cases when the difference between the current value acquired by the current-value acquisition unit, and a current value of a current to be outputted by the power conditioner on the basis of a request signal, is greater than a predetermined reference difference, transmits, to the control device, a stop signal for stopping the power conditioner.
