A signal-receiving device for receiving a signal from a signal-transmitting device is provide d with a distortion reduction unit, a compensation coefficient calculation unit, and a distortion compensation unit. The distortion reduction unit generates, from a received signal including a first distortion and a second distortion, a distortion-reduced signal in which the second distortion is reduced and the first distortion is left intact. The compensation coefficient calculation unit calculates, on the basis of the distortion-reduced signal, a compensation co efficient for compensating for the first distortion of the received signal. The distortion compensation unit generates, using the compensation coefficient, a compensated signal in which the first distortion of the received signal is compensated for.
