The method involves performing data transfer according to the OSI reference model. The encryption and the authentication of the data between transmitters and receivers in the layer-2 of the OSI reference model are performed. The layer of encryption is arranged within the layer 2 of the OSI model. The layers 3-6 of the OSI model are not used in the data transmission. The decryption and verification of data packets on single packet level are performed directly at layer-2 of the OSI model. An independent claim is included for a device for operating interconnected systems in wind farm.
