The abrasive grit (10) comprises sheet-like bodies (11-1, 11-2) such as partially penetrable planar bodies, fully penetrable planar bodies, interpenetrating bodies and trihedral bodies. The interpenetrating bodies and trihedral bodies intersect at an angle of 90[deg] . The major surfaces of the bodies are present in square shape. A ratio of a diameter and a thickness (d) of the bodies is 5. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for fabricating an abrasive grit; (2) a casting tool for manufacturing an abrasive grit; (3) an assembly of abrasive grit; and (4) a method of making an abrasive article.
