The invention relates to a method of MR imaging of at least a portion of a body (10) placed in a main magnetic field within the examination volume of a MR device (1). The method comprises the following steps: subjecting the portion of the body (10) to a spatially selective control sequence (CTRL), whereby a control data set of MR signals is acquired from an imaging region, subjecting the portion of the body (10) to a spatially selective labeling sequence (LBL), which excites nuclear magnetization outside the imaging region, repetitively subjecting the portion of the body (10) to a spatially selective acquisition sequence(ACQ 1,..., ACQ N), whereby two or more image data sets of MR signals are acquired from the imaging region at different delay times after the labeling sequence (LBL), reconstructing a control image (21) from the control data set, and reconstructing a labeled image (22, 23, 24, 25) from each image data set. The method of the invention enables fast time-resolved MR angiography by computing two or more difference images (26, 27, 28, 29) from the control image (21) and each of the labeled images (22, 23, 24, 25). Moreover, the invention relates to a MR device (1) and to a computer program.
