The foundation pile (1) is composed of individual pipe sections (2), from which one pipe section is fixed as permanent well casing in the subsoil. The pipe sections are formed as concrete pipes which are connected with each other via clamping elements in a longitudinally force-locked manner. One of the pipe sections arranged in a borehole (9) is provided with a circumferential cutting shoe. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a foundation pile for offshore structures.
