The lens has a centering area (402) defined by a region to be traversed by a horizontal view of a wearer. A reference zone for near vision (404) and a reference zone for distance vision (401) are defined in lower and upper regions of the lens, respectively, where the difference between the total power measured at the reference zones is strictly between 3.50 and 6.50. The residual equivalent power in the centering area is between 0.25 and 1 diopter, where the equivalent power varies continuously between the centering area and a central point (VL) of the reference zone for distance vision.
