The method involves displaying the biunique association of the second elements to the first elements, on a picture screen (DISP) which is structurally combined with the self-service terminal. The input data (PIN) are determined and displayed in the user terminal (MD) of the user (CSM). The input data are transferred to the several computer-aided units connected with the self-service terminal, by application program (MBA). The biunique association of the second elements to the first elements is managed and the authentication of the transaction is performed. An independent claim is included for system for performing authentification and feedthrough of a transaction at a self-service terminal.
