The radar has in-flight refueling devices arranged behind one another and provided with sub-apertures in a linear antenna for receiving reflected signals. An image pickup unit generates SAR images by a SAR HRWS processing. The sub-apertures receive separately recorded signals. A moving target detection unit estimates velocity of a moving target by transformation of the separately recorded signals received by the sub-apertures. An azimuth frequency domain filtering unit receives the transformed signals to perform signal selection and correlation.
