Method for controlling transmission of a paging message to a mobile communication equipment in idle mode, in presence of RANS implementing different RATS

A radio network controller (RNC1) equips a first radio access network (RAN1) implementing a first radio access technology and coupled to first cells (C1) and to second radio network controller(s) (RNC2) belonging to a second radio access network (RAN2) implementing a second radio access technology, and coupled to second cells (C2). This radio network controller (RNC1) is arranged, when it receives a paging message to be sent to a mobile communication equipment (CE) recently connected to it, i) for determining identifiers of second cells (C2) located in the radio vicinity of its first cells (C1), ii) for transmitting this paging message with the identifiers to each second radio network controller (RNC2) coupled to an identified second cell (C2), so that it diffuses it into each of its identified second cells (C2), and iii) for diffusing the paging message into at least a chosen first cell (C1) coupled to it.
