An ocean thermal energy conversion system is disclosed. The ocean thermal energy conversion system using sunlight of the present invention includes a sunlight storage unit forming an overheated fluid by pressing the fluid and heating the same with the sunlight and a generation unit. The generation unit receives seawater, which is discharged from a condenser of the other generation system such as thermal power generation and nuclear power generation, as supply water and evaporates the same. The generation unit generates electricity with vapor generated due to heat exchange with the overheated fluid and generates fresh water by exchanging the heat of the discharged vapor with the heat of deep water.
