The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for arranging content in a media device and a recording medium for storing program sources for the method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for aligning content in a media device comprises the steps of: extracting time information for a corresponding content from metadata of each of stored contents; classifying the contents on the basis of the extracted time information and a time interval for content alignment; determining at least one time item corresponding to the time interval; and aligning the classified contents to the time item to which each of the contents belongs.
