A pharmaceutical composition containing an extract of the plant genus Stechen Binse has antiviral properties. In addition to the extract of the plant genus of the Stinging Bulrush, the composition may contain at least one other genus of plants selected from the group of white willow, roses, chamomile, lavender and myrrh.
