PURPOSE: A method for preparing a cryo-preserved xenograft skin and the cryo-preserved xenograft skin prepared thereby are provided to improve the survival rate of cells and to reduce manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a cryo-preserved xenograft skin comprises the following steps of: extracting a hetero-skin; sterilizing the extracted hetero-skin with an acetyl hydroperoxide solution and an ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid; preparing a basic solution by mixing dimethyl sulfoxide, animal cell culture medium, and fetal bovine serum; preparing a cryoprotective agent by dissolving a sucrose in the basic solution; permeating the cryoprotective agent into the hetero-skin; and freezing the hetero-skin.
