Proliferation of cancer cells is effectively inhibited. Provided is a cancer cell-inhibiting ceramic containing a β-tricalcium phosphate porous granule with a particle size of 1 to 10 µm. The β-tricalcium phosphate porous granule is taken up into cancer cells at an affected area and have an effect of inhibiting proliferation of a cancer tissue. The β-tricalcium phosphate porous granule with a particle size of 1 to 10 µm can be used to more effectively inhibit the proliferation of the cancer cells.
