The present invention, which relates to an ultraviolet camera for detecting the discharge of a power facility, comprises an ultraviolet (UV) image module for image processing an ultraviolet signal photographed in a power facility being measured, removing noise from the UV image and outputting the ultraviolet signals; a real image module for image processing a visible signal photographed in the power facility being measured and outputting the visible signal; a distance measuring means for measuring the distance from the power facility being measured and outputting the measured value (distance information) by an image synthesis module; the image synthesis module for receiving the image signal and electrical signal outputted from the ultraviolet image module and real image module and outputting the composite image in which the ultraviolet image and real image are synthesized based on the distance information outputted from the distance measuring means; and a main control means for controlling the composite image outputted from the image synthesis module to be displayed in a display means, wherein the ultraviolet image module provides the device including a polymer absorption film layer, UV filter glass (UG5) and multiple layered UV filter consisting of nickel sulphate crystal filter, thereby achieving the effects of improving reliability of abnormality diagnosis by correctly measuring the measurement distance from the power facility when diagnosing abnormality of the power facility and by increasing the UV transmission and protection efficiency.
