METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RELIABLE COMMUNICATION USING ACK AGGREGATION IN DIRECTIONAL WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A reliable communication method through an ACK aggregation in a directional wireless communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to avoid a delay or collision of ACK. CONSTITUTION: A receiver (810) receives i number of data frames which are multicasted in a first sector of a transmitter antenna beam. A controller (820) confirms ACK aggregation scheduling information which is included in at least one of the i number of data frames. An ACK information aggregating unit (830) aggregates ACK information about the i number of data frames based on the ACK aggregation scheduling information. The ACK information aggregating unit receives ACK information of a previous receiver which belongs to the first sector according to an order which is included in the ACK aggregation scheduling information. The ACK information aggregating unit transmits ACK information to a next receiver according to the order.
