A military information visualization system which uses a web-based virtual space according to the present invention includes: a virtual visualization space management module (102) which grasps the location of XML file type information on a map and builds an information image about an information subject similarity, an information object relationship, and an information classification type into a web browser-based virtual visualization three-dimensional space (A); a time image management module (108) which expresses XML file type information in an animation in which a change is performed according to time progress; and a change management module (111) which zooms in when selecting a level-of-detail (LOD) function while converting the XML file type information from a two-dimensional graph into a three-dimensional graph or reversely. The military information visualization system provides a zoom-in which uses the level-of-detail (LOD) function with various relationship expressions which a military document has through the three-dimensional virtual space on an internet web browser and, specifically, remarkably improves information readability and space utilization by expressing enemy movement information, which is expressed in the military document, in a position on the map, the 2D or 3D graph, and the animation according to the time progress.
