The present invention relates to a probability-based reliability prediction model. Existing trust models for predicting reliability include a reliability model for predicting the reliability between users in a classification method or a ranking method using reliability information such as review-rating between the users and attribute information of the user according to the type of the information which the user uses and a reliability model which is based on reliability propagation which is a strategy in which information on connection between the users with reliability is used. However the reliability prediction model which predicts the reliability between the users by simultaneously using the reliability information and the information on the connection between the users has not been suggested yet. Therefore, the present invention suggests a reliability prediction method and a device thereof, which simultaneously use the reliability information and the information on the connection between the users for a better reliability prediction result between the users. The suggested method and device are the reliability model based on a new method modified to use a message transmitting method of belief propagation, which predicts the state of a node, to predict the state of a link.
