CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating allergic diseases contians Illicium verum extract as an active ingredient. The allergic diseases include edema, anaphylaxis, allergic rhinitis, asthma, allergic conjunctivitis, allergic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, or insect, food, or drug allergy. An external use skin formulation for preventing or treating allergic diseases contains Illicium verum extract as an active ingredient.
