PURPOSE: A monitoring device for a high pressure hydrogen tank is provided to quickly and safely monitor the charged state of a high pressure hydrogen tank individually used in hydrogen charging stations or research laboratories. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring device for a high pressure hydrogen tank comprises a sensor body(20), a charging part(30), a discharge part(40), and a signal processing part(50). The sensor body is installed in an opening of a high pressure hydrogen tank(10) to measure temperature and pressure. The charging part comprises a charging socket(35) on one side of a passage of the sensor body. The discharge part comprises a solenoid valve(43) and a regulator(45) on the other side of the passage of the sensor body. The signal processing part supplies power to the sensor body to generate signals.
