PURPOSE: A Zr alloy with excellent mechanical property and corrosion resistance for a nuclear fuel cladding tube is provided to secure stability of a nuclear power plant and improve the degree of nuclear fuel burn-up. CONSTITUTION: A Zr alloy for a nuclear fuel cladding tube comprises 0.5-5wt.% of Nb, 0.01-0.35wt.% of Fe, 800-3,000ppm of O, 5-300ppm of S, 5-300ppm of one or more elements, and the rest Zr, where the one or more elements are selected from the group consisting of P and Si.
