A device and method for controlling neutral point voltage of a three-level inverter using DPWM are disclosed. The device and method for controlling the neutral point voltage of the three level inverter using the DPWM according to the embodiment of the present invention compute a minimum value of the on time of a switch using a three-level current and change the switch on time by adding and subtracting the minimum value to the switch on time of three-levels according to the difference of two direct terminal capacitor voltages and simply controls a neutral point of the three-level inverter without deformation of a space vector voltage modulation mode or designs a controller using mathematical modeling of a complex system.
