PURPOSE: MRSA Bacillus methylotrophicus EML-CAP7 is provided to biologically control various plant diseases, and to be applicable to a various kinds of crops at the same time by spraying or flushing a culture medium or a culyure medium extract on plants. CONSTITUTION: Bacillus methylotrophicus EML-CAP7 (accession number: KCTC12116BP) is prepared. A composition for controlling plant diseases contains the Bacillus methylotrophicus EML-CAP7 (accession number: KCTC12116BP), a culture medium or a culture medium extract thereof. The plant diseases are one or more kinds selected from the group comprising of phytophthora blight, anthracnose, bacterial spot, blast disease, Heliminthosporium blight, and Fusarium wilt. The culture medium extract is obtained by extracting the culture medium using one kind alone or more than two kinds of organic solvents selected from C_1-4 alcohol, hexane, acetone, chloroform, and ethyl acetate.
