The present invention relates to a method of designing a beamformer which is suitable for a massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) environment, according to the present invention, a method of designing a beamformer based on the k-Gaussianity in a massive MIMO system having similar performance compared to an existing eigen beamforming method while having the similar hardware complexity compared to an existing antenna selection method by simultaneously solving disadvantages that the existing antenna selection method has an advantage in hardware complexity while its performance is bad in a view of the total data rate and the existing eigen beamforming method has the optimal performance while its hardware complexity is bad.
