The present invention relates to a method for analyzing compositions of a dye bath for polarizing plates using an UV/visible light spectrometer, comprising: a first step to add a non-polar solvent to a chemical containing KI and I2 for separation into a non-polar solvent layer and an aqueous solution layer; a second step to measure iodine absorbance by emitting a light source using an UV/a visible light spectrometer to the non-polar solvent layer and the aqueous solution layer, respectively; and a third step to quantitatively analyze iodine concentrations inside a dye bath for polarizing plates using the iodine absorbance data measured in the second step.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014;[Reference numerals] (AA) Remaining I2 quantity(%); (BB) Extraction frequency (n)
