The present invention relates to a stock exchange volume prediction method using a search query and a system thereof. The stock exchange volume prediction method using a search query given in the present invention includes: a keyword storage unit which stores N (N=1) stock-linked keywords related to a stock issuing company; a search query check unit which checks the amount of occurrence for search queries per unit time for n (1=n=N) stock-linked keywords among the N stock-linked keywords; a stock exchange volume prediction unit which calculates a predicted stock exchange volume from the amount of occurrence for search queries based on the proportional relation between the actual stock exchange volume and search query occurrence data including one or more among the amount of occurrence for the search queries, the type and the distribution of the n stock-linked keywords included in the amount of occurrence for the search queries, and the keyword occurrence frequency of the n stock-linked keywords; and a predicted exchange volume output unit which outputs the predicted stock exchange volume in a diagram or a graph.
