The present invention relates to a steel tapping method for minimizing the amount of remaining nitrogen in a slag flowing into molten steel when the molten steel is discharged from a converter. Provided is a steel tapping method of a converter for reducing nitrogen in molten steel, including the following steps of: tilting a converter to the opposite side of a tapping outlet, after blowing the converter; excluding only the slag which flowed out through an insertion hole of the tilted converter, and which is formed on top of the molten steel; and tilting again the converter to the side of the converter tapping outlet to discharge the molten steel, pure from the slag, through the tapping outlet and into a ladle after.
