The present invention relates to a discharge electrode for an electrostatic precipitator. The discharge electrode for an electrostatic precipitator includes a dust collecting plate and a discharge rod which receives power from an outer power device and is installed in an electrostatic precipitator which collects contaminated particles contained in harmful gas flowing into the electrostatic precipitator. The discharge electrode for an electrostatic precipitator comprises: a body unit which is interlocked with the discharge rod while surrounding at least a part of the outer surface of the discharge rod; an extended frame which is extended from the body unit and is faced with the dust collecting plate; and a curved unit which is curved from the upper or lower part of the extended frame towards the dust collecting plate, and is characterized that the harmful gas flows along the longitudinal direction of the curved unit while facing a cut surface. Thereby, the present invention relates to a discharge electrode for an electrostatic precipitator and an electrostatic precipitator using the same and more specifically to a discharge electrode for an electrostatic precipitator having a simple structure which can improve dust collecting efficiency.
