摘要

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a phosphor for emitting blue and red light, a light emitting device including the same, and a manufacturing method thereof. The phosphor including Eu or Mn as active elements in a phosphor matrix represented by AO-BO-P_2O_5(each of A and B is one or more selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba). The manufacturing method thereof includes a step of mixing active element precursors including Eu and Mn into a cationic metal element precursor and a phosphorous component precursor and drying the same; a step of heat-treating the dried precursor mixture at 500-700 °C under an oxidizing atmosphere; and a step of heat-treating the precursor mixture at 1000-1200 °C under a reducing atmosphere. By the present invention, a highly efficient single color-emitting diode chip can be obtained, and blue and red light are simultaneously obtained from a single composition phosphor so that costs by using a plurality of emitting diodes can be saved.
