The present invention relates to a method for classifying four kinds of physical constitutions by using meridian energy signals, more specifically, to a method comprising the steps of: (1) extracting features from meridian energy signals measured from a body; (2) calculating a takagi-sugeno defuzzification value by using the extracted features and a neuro-fuzzy network with a weighted fuzzy membership function (NEWFM); (3) mapping the calculated takagi-sugeno defuzzification value onto a two-dimensional four kinds of physical constitutions spaces of a quadrant; and (4) determining four kinds of physical constitutions based on the mapped two-dimensional four kinds of physical constitutions spaces. According to the method for classifying four kinds of physical constitutions by using meridian energy signals which is proposed in the present invention, the meridian energy signals are measured from the body, the features are extracted from the measured meridian energy signals, the takagi-sugeno defuzzification value is calculated by using the neuro-fuzzy network with a weighted fuzzy membership function (NEWFM), and the calculated takagi-sugeno defuzzification value is mapped onto the two-dimensional four kinds of physical constitutions spaces of the quadrant.
