The present invention relates to a method of refining highly unsaturated fatty acid using high performance liquid chromatography and, more specifically, a method of refining highly unsaturated fatty acid using high performance liquid chromatography which is able to obtain high purity EPA of more than 97.5% with a HPLC method by using 60-80% of EPA without DHA as raw material, is able to effectively separate EPA by preventing the overlap of DHA and EPA when the DHA flow out of HPLC, reduces elution time by using 100% of methanol (CH_3OH) and water (H_2O) free as a mobile phase, is able to perform mass production in industry scale by improving productivity, is manufactured in a constant size and has a long life time by using polymeric hybrid with the advantages of polymers which are strong on chemical change and silica with excellent physical properties as the packing materials of a column, and exhibits excellent loading capacity and resolution. The present invention provides the method of refining highly unsaturated fatty acid using high performance liquid chromatography which uses 60-80% of EPA and 0% of DHA as raw materials.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
