The present invention relates to a tidal power generation system stem and an operating method for the same integrated with a system for predicting conditions including information on water level changes and water discharge amount in a tidal basin and a power generation control system, which controls available power output with expanding available power generators. The invention comprises a power generator, a plurality of power generation units including hydraulic turbines operating the power generator; and a plurality of power generation control systems, which controls the water turbines of the power generation units corresponding to the plurality of power generation units. As to the tidal power generation system, which is operated in parallel for one load, the plurality of the power generation units are not operated at the same time, and stop at intervals. According to the tidal power generation system connected to the control system and system for predicting conditions and the operating method for the same, exciting current supplied to an exciter is distributed to minimize the capacity of an exciting current supplier when operating the plurality of the power generators in parallel. Water discharged to the tidal basin from the water turbines flows in one direction to prevent tidal eddies and protect environment around the basin.
