The present invention relates to a drought stress resistant gene derived from a potato and a drought stress resistant transformant produced by using the same. The gene of the present invention is confirmed to be expressed from the potato with a low temperature stress resistance, and is capable of producing the transformant with drought stress resistance by transforming the genes, thereby capable of being practically used in developing plant bodies with resistance against dry environments.
